Is surgery always necessary?

>A recent editorial in the British Journal of Medicine offered the scathing opinion that arthroscopic surgery for knee pain is: “a highly questionable practice without supporting evidence of even moderate quality.” <

Some surgeries are necessary--no question.
Many are not--a conservative, wait-and-see approach to injury may be better.
Massage can help alleviate pain and discomfort during this period.

In addition, massage stimulates the nervous system by providing positive input, which may aid the body in finding ways to move without pain.
